Introduction

1. Introduction

This machine is a high-efficiency special food machinery, used for slitting graded and soaked broad beans (also called horse beans) for further deep processing. It is mainly applied to the pre-slitting treatment of broad beans before frying.

2. Structure

Refer to the parts schematic diagram and assembly exploded view of the slitting machine.

3. Working Principle

Pour the soaked broad beans into the hopper. Materials are fed by vibration into the gap between rotating rubber wheels fixed by three driving rollers. Driven by the feeding wheels, the outer skin of broad beans is slit by blades, and then discharged by the discharging wheels.

4. Installation

Place the machine on flat ground and fasten the anchor bolts; or pad each foot with rubber plates of 10mm thickness or above.

5. Trial Operation

  1. Connect the power supply according to the motor voltage requirement. Tap the switch slightly to check whether the rotation direction is correct (see the marking on the large V-belt pulley). Add a small amount of water to the rubber wheels, switch on the power, and let the machine run for 5 minutes before formal operation. If the machine has been stored for a long time, turn it manually 1–2 circles in the correct rotating direction first, then start up.

  2. Adjust the height of blades and feeding wheels to change the width and depth of the slits on broad beans, so as to achieve the required processing effect.
